It’s Time to Get The Green Hornet Kato Costume

Back in the 60′s The Green Hornet & Kato costume were all the rave.  Mainly due to exposure on Batman & Robin’s television show, and the fact that Bruce Lee was Kato!  And now here we are again, 40 plus years later and it’s about to get big once more.  The 2011 movie release has done very very well, with an interesting choice for the leading roll of The Green Hornet aka, Britt Reid is Seth Rogan.    I think his adaption of the character will add some much needed depth and satire to an amazing hero.  And as far as Kato goes,  Jay Chou is poised as the perfect person for the role that Bruce Lee made famous.  Jay Chou will offer Seth Rogan the “yin” to his “yang” personality.

This Halloween, getting The Green Hornet Kato costume now is wise.  Because now that the DVD hit the stores these costumes will indeed be sought after bigtime.  These costumes are all new for this year too!  The Green Hornet Adult costume is clean, simple but loaded with detail.  The mask has the nose shaped out and the costume is basically the Dark Green knee length jacket and the black reporters hat.  Add some black penny loafers and some black gloves.  A white shirt and skinny brown tie is all that’s needed to finish off the official superhero look.

Another awesome addition is the famous Green Hornet Gun!  Another brand new addition for 2011, this is something you’ll want to have handy for the perfect finishing touch.

Let’s talk about Kato.  The Kato Deluxe costume is great.  You can’t help but want to kick some but while wearing this awesome outfit.  The (fake) leather eye-mask  and chauffeur hat really makes this one pop!  The black chauffeur’s jacket has ornate buttons and also let me mention that the eye-mask is just as detailed as The Green Hornet’s.  All you need are some black pants, black shoes and maybe buy some official Kato gloves to top it off.

You can purchase the masks separately if you wanted, as well as the hats.  Fact is, these are some stellar costumes that will for sure be a hit this year and years to come.  Both costumes also come in a teenager’s size.  Take a look at the navigation bar at the upper-right side of this website to find all of your favorite Green Hornet & Kato costumes.

Did you know that The Green Hornet actually started out as a radio show in the 1930′s.  Wow, this is one heck of a hero.  And over the years these characters have gone from one extreme to now the Silver Screen.  And if you haven’t had a good look at The Green Hornet’s movie preview yet, take a look at the bottom of this website.  We thought you’d enjoy it as much as we did.

One more wonderful idea you may want to consider is getting a female version of the Green Hornet’s costume.  The female Green Hornet costume is a sexy ensemble that allows the women to express their appreciation of being a green hornet fan, and goes great with the above mentioned costumes as well.
